The Parlour Pool

Providing an exclusive indoor pool facility for the local community to hire so everyone can have the benefit of a private pool without the burden of having to build and maintain one, The Parlour Pool also hosts a mind-bogglingly popular Super Swim School for children, specialising in a relaxed and calm environment and small class sizes. We’re BIG fans.
HU5ky popped over to say welcome to the HU5k Family and offer his assistance getting everything ready for the next swim class. Of course, he got a bit distracted by all the FUN stuff and looked like he might be about to contaminate the beautiful water so we retrieved him! Maxi Lounge is more than a snooker club – it’s a community built from passion. Founded by lifelong cue‑sports enthusiast Matt, the club is the realisation of a dream years in the making. With the support of his partner, Cat, close friends, and a small group of believers in his vision, Maxi Lounge opened its doors last October in Yate Shopping Centre.

Fettle Fitness is a women’s health-focused coaching community built on inclusivity, simplicity and consistency. Founded in 2017 by Coach Tess, the studio has grown into a supportive space where women can feel strong, confident and empowered through every stage of life.
Tess brings a wealth of knowledge as a women’s health coach, mum of three and lifelong lover of weightlifting and team sports. She understands the real‑world challenges women face and meets them with empathy, encouragement and evidence‑based guidance. Her mission is to help women move beyond body image and discover what their bodies are truly capable of – building strength from the inside out.
Based in Hawkesbury Upton, the Fettle Fitness studio offers a private, functional training environment designed for 1‑1 coaching, small‑group personal training and their signature Women’s Weights sessions. It’s a welcoming alternative to busy commercial gyms, giving women the space to train, learn and grow with confidence.
And speaking of training… Hu5ky Bear couldn’t resist persuading Tess to put him through a PT session and she certainly didn’t hold back! He worked hard, had a blast, and now he’s already looking forward to his next session. We’re delighted to welcome Fettle Fitness to the team.
